We serve Canadian businesses with 20 to 200 employees, on-site across Toronto, Hamilton, and Metro Vancouver, and remote-managed coast to coast.

Cloud Management Across Canada, Not a Reseller Hand-Off

Most “cloud” vendors sell you a license and walk away. We run the environment. Your Microsoft 365 tenant, your Azure subscriptions, your private servers and any hybrid links between them, all monitored, patched, secured, and reported on by the same team.

We’re Canadian-owned and have managed Canadian businesses since 2012. That matters more than it used to. CIRA’s 2025 vendor-selection report found 56% of Canadian buyers reconsidered U.S.-based providers, and 82% say a vendor’s country of origin matters more than it did a year ago. Your data stays in Canada, managed by engineers who answer to Canadian law, not a U.S. parent company with its own reporting obligations.

Fusion Computing was named one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed IT Companies two years running (2024 and 2025), and holds a 4.9/5 Google rating. Our CEO, Mike Pearlstein, holds the CISSP, the same credential your CISO holds.

What Managed Cloud Services Include

For a flat per-user monthly fee, we plan your cloud, move you onto it, secure it, and keep it running, with the licensing, patching, and vendor management folded in. Here’s what that covers.

Microsoft 365 and Azure management

As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, we own your M365 tenant, Entra identity, Intune device policy, and Azure subscriptions, licensing and cost optimization included. No surprise overage bills at month-end.

Private and hybrid cloud

Not every workload belongs in public cloud. We design and run private and hybrid setups, on-prem servers, Canadian data-centre hosting, and the secure links between them, when latency, cost, or compliance calls for it.

Cloud migration

Email, files, line-of-business apps, and servers, moved with a tested cutover plan and a rollback path. We migrate in stages so your team keeps working, and we verify every restore before we call it done.

Cloud security and identity

Huntress and SentinelOne on every endpoint, Fortinet at the perimeter, KeeperSec for privileged access, and conditional-access policies on identity. Detect, contain, recover, built on CIS Controls v8.1.

Backup and disaster recovery

Cloud and on-prem data backed up to Canadian storage, with restores tested quarterly, not just the backups. (A backup you can’t restore from is a liability you’re paying to maintain.)

Monitoring, helpdesk, and reporting

NinjaOne monitors every endpoint, ConnectWise runs the helpdesk with a 1-hour critical SLA and 93% first-contact resolution, and your named account lead reviews spend and posture with you each quarter.

What’s not included: we don’t mark up hardware. If a private-cloud build needs new servers, IT procurement is a separate engagement, so the gear lives outside the monthly fee and there’s no margin baked into your infrastructure.

National Coverage: Three Offices, Remote Coast to Coast

Cloud work is remote-first by nature, so we manage clients across Canada from a single team. When you need hands on-site, we have field coverage in three regions with a 4-hour on-site response target.

Toronto and the GTA

100 King St W, Suite 5700. 4-hour on-site response across the GTA.

Hamilton and Burlington

64 Hatt Street. 4-hour on-site response across Hamilton, Burlington, and the surrounding area.

Metro Vancouver

West-coast field team, HQ-managed. 4-hour on-site response across Metro Vancouver.

Remote, Canada-wide

Full cloud management delivered remotely anywhere in Canada, with your data hosted on Canadian soil.

Cloud Security and Canadian Data Residency

Moving to the cloud doesn’t remove your compliance obligations, it changes who can see your data and where it lives. We build cloud environments that keep Canadian data in Canada and document the controls so you can answer your insurer, your auditor, and your clients without scrambling.

The security stack is built on CIS Controls v8.1, an external, auditable framework, not our own judgment about what’s “enough.” Here’s how that maps to the regulations Canadian businesses actually face:

  • PIPEDA (Canada’s private-sector privacy law): we configure access controls, encryption, and logging so personal information you collect, customer emails included, is handled to PIPEDA’s safeguards principle.
  • Ontario’s PHIPA: for healthcare clients, we align cloud storage, audit trails, and clinical-system uptime to PHIPA’s requirements for personal health information.
  • OSFI expectations: for federally regulated financial entities, we structure cloud and third-party arrangements with the data-location, resilience, and oversight controls OSFI looks for in its technology and cyber-risk guidance.
  • Data residency: workloads and backups sit in Canadian regions and Canadian data centres by default. We confirm residency in writing, not as a verbal assurance.

For security threats themselves, we use detect-contain-recover language, not “prevent,” because no honest provider stops every attack. The average Canadian data breach now costs CA$6.98 million (IBM Cost of a Data Breach, 2025), and 24% of Canadian organizations were ransomware victims in the past 12 months (CIRA, 2025). Our job is to catch it in hours and get you back online, with verified restores from Canadian backups.

What Managed Cloud Services Cost in Canada

Pricing is per user, per month, and the range depends on scope, how much security you need, and whether you want everything bundled or a leaner stack. No per-incident charges.

Package Price (per user / month) Best for
Managed IT / MSSP Advanced $160–$200 (avg $180) Full cloud management plus a standard security stack
MSSP CIS-Aligned $210–$250 (avg $230) All-inclusive: M365 Business Premium plus MDR, SIEM, SOC, SOAR, XDR, NDR, patching, vendor management, and vCIO
Co-Managed IT $130–$180+ Businesses with internal IT that need cloud capacity and a security partner

Non-profit pricing starts at $130/user/month. Hardware for private-cloud builds is quoted separately at cost.

How Fusion Fits With Your Other IT

Managed cloud rarely lives on its own. Most clients run it alongside full managed IT or a co-managed arrangement, and many add a dedicated cybersecurity engagement on top.

Common Questions About Managed Cloud Services in Canada

How much do managed cloud services cost in Canada?

Managed cloud runs $160–$200 per user per month for full management with a standard security stack, and $210–$250 for the all-inclusive CIS-Aligned package that bundles M365 Business Premium plus MDR, SIEM, SOC, and vCIO. Co-managed starts at $130. Pricing is flat per user, with no per-incident charges, and the exact figure depends on how much security and how many workloads you run.

Will my data stay in Canada?

Yes. We default to Canadian cloud regions and Canadian data centres for both live workloads and backups, and we confirm residency in writing. We’re Canadian-owned, so your data is managed by engineers who answer to Canadian law, not a U.S. parent company. CIRA found 69% of Canadian buyers now cite data sovereignty as a top consideration (CIRA, 2025), and we treat it as one.

Do you handle the full migration to the cloud?

Yes. We plan, stage, and execute the move, email, files, line-of-business apps, and servers, with a tested cutover and a rollback path. We migrate in phases so your team keeps working, and we verify every restore before we sign off. For most 20 to 200-person businesses, a full migration runs in planned waves over a few weeks rather than one risky weekend.

Public, private, or hybrid cloud, which do I need?

It depends on cost, latency, and compliance. Most workloads fit well in Microsoft 365 and Azure (public cloud). Some, like latency-sensitive apps or data with strict residency rules, belong in a private or hybrid setup. We assess your environment first and recommend the mix, rather than pushing everything to public cloud by default.

What tools do you use to secure cloud environments?

Huntress and SentinelOne for managed endpoint and extended detection, Fortinet at the perimeter, and KeeperSec for privileged access, all built on CIS Controls v8.1. We monitor with NinjaOne and run identity through Microsoft Entra conditional access. The framing is detect, contain, recover, because no provider honestly prevents every attack.

Can you manage our cloud if we already have internal IT?

Yes, that’s our co-managed model. Your internal team stays in charge and owns the vendor relationships; we add cloud capacity, 24/7 monitoring, and the security stack. If you already run NinjaOne, we work inside it. The goal is to make your IT person more capable, not redundant.
