Fusion Minimum Standard

  • All software and hardware has an active support contract (client machines excepted)
  • All mission critical components have a DR plan or backup, with a reasonable Recovery Time Objective
  • Email system is either Exchange 2016, Office365, Google for Work
  • VoIP or Hosted phone system with an active support agreement, from a company that can have “hands on” within 1 business day.
  • Backup and continuity by Datto / Veeam only
  • LoB apps are the latest possible version including an active support agreement
  • Fibre optic internet + backup
  • Fortinet or Cisco or Palo Alto firewall as needed.
  • Managed switches, including at least one “L3” switch per site
  • CAT6 cabling+
  • Servers should be no older than 5 years and must include an active warranty with the manufacturer
  • Clients should have full access to all the MSP’s IT systems.
  • Required capital IT budget for yearly spend management
  • Required to complete any solution the “correct” way, even if it means additional spend for redundancy as needed.
  • Cybersecurity training for end users
  • Cybersecurity software on all devices
  • Data Loss Prevention on all devices
  • Mail Archiving with unlimited retention
